What is a youth network?

Youth networks are a great way to bring international resources into classrooms. They allow students to interact with cultures from all over the world and learn about global issues. New youth networks are popping up around the world and in classrooms across the US. These networks are usually initiated by teachers and take some time to develop and maintain. This blogspot is designed to create a resource forum for educators and administrators to discuss issues with using media to connect students internationally.

Two examples of youth networks are Bridges and iEARN.
